Broke our souls  

Each other. 

We may have

Adored each other 

Shared a great bond 

Felt happy of other’s existence 

But we never felt it in us really 

Did we? 

Isn’t it all just 

Hoax, a feign?

I broke your heart directly 

But why 

Why do you have to do mine indirectly? 

Why betray me?

I believed you 

You never believed me 

I understood you, maybe little 

You never understood me, not even the slightest 

I liked you 

You did too, but 

Did you really? 

Wasn’t it all just 

a mirage?

Tell me am erroneous 

Then I’ll apprise  

How you took away my trust 

Just like how 

You pluck a blossom 

From its mother plant 

I’m here bleeding 

As I touched a prickle 

Which I thought an alluring flower.
